Current Exhibition: Open Art York present a varied exhibition of open submission work from a rich array of York artists. The work is a lovely mix of media and showcases the hidden talent of many people who may not exhibit otherwise. This work will be up throughout October, come in and be inspired!
Next Exhibition: Open Art York will be hanging an exhibition of their own work, using the full garden room space to display work by the collective. This art group have focussed on supporting any and all artists through their open submission events and it will be lovely to see them have a dedicated exhibition for themselves. Call in any time in November and see what they have been working on.
When the Co-op took over the The Golden Ball, there was a strong emphasis on use of the building for community projects and with a lick of paint and gallery hanging system installed, the Garden Room was soon converted into a exhibition area. Photos of launch nights and arts events are in our Gallery section.
If you would be interested in exhibiting your work at The Golden Ball, get in touch to discuss your ideas
